I remember a little boy

With dimples, oh so deep

A shy, endearing smile 

Fried 'Idlys', he loved to eat.

I remember that little boy

I walked home from pre-primary school

And we shared a little ditty

That we sure sang in tune.

I remember that little boy

School work he did not like 

(who does :-D )

He loved all those ‘little boy’ things

He was an adorable tyke.

I remember that little boy

Oh, he was so small

And now just look at him

He’s well-built and oh so tall,

With the soul of a bard

And a voice that’s quite a treat

A smile that is still shy

And dimples, that are still deep.
