Revelation
This past year has been a year of revelations
It starkly exposed the state of relations
Left no scope for foolish illusions
The picture is clear, no more delusions.
2003 is the turning point year
Who is friend & who is foe is now very clear
The level of stooping has been defined
Last September’s revelation blew my mind.
The twisting of the truth so beautifully staged
In fascination I watched, as the audience was swayed
Then in a rush of knowledge, everything became clear
This is how opinion was manipulated since the turning point year.
So many lives in disarray
Result of a twisted mind and a tongue astray
So many believe in things untrue
Because of failure to sift lies from truth.
Listen, think, reason, and question
What is the need and the compulsion
To mangle another’s reputation this way
Is it to cover up dissention or something more grave?
